At the end of all things is an ambitious book. It aims to describe the end of the world. Not just the fall of society or the destruction of life as we know it, but the complete and utter, book of Revelations style, end of all things.

The book is divided into three sections and travels between several different people, who all intersect in one way or another.

The book is well written, compelling, spine tingling and hard to put down. I enjoyed the first third immensely, but, while I liked the rest of the book and hurried to finish it, it didn't quite live up to the amazing beginning. Perhaps it was because the scope of the book is so huge and the threads so many that I was constantly wondering how it was all going to be wrapped up by the rapidly approaching end (which it was, with moderate success). More likely, it was because of a certain incident with a dog, which really soured the book for me. I forgave the author by the end, but it did take a lot of enjoyment out of finishing the tale.

Apart from dog related trauma, my only gripe with this book is that it gave one or two few hints for my liking to tie everything together at the end. Perhaps it needed another 100 pages to realize it's vision.

If you enjoy zombies and apocalyptic tales, this is a must read. A deserved four stars.

Stony Graves' debut really is a cracker. I couldn't help but be put in mind of The Stand, but with zombies. That's a very good thing...

It definitely stands out from the crowd. It's a thicker book than most zombie fare, with deeper characters, a larger story arc...this book does everything BIGGER. A very well written book, perfectly judged, expertly paced...

Well, I gave it five stars, because it really is excellent. It's outstanding in the horror field and the zombie field, and one of the best books I've read this year.

I'd certainly read a book by Mr. Graves again.

I purchased this book wondering if I would like it. I'm a big fan of Stephen King, George R.R. Martin, and other authors of similar genres. I saw a review of At the End of All Things and someone compared it to a King novel. I decided to give the book a chance. I'm very glad that I did. The way the author, Stony Graves, worked in Zombies and the Apocalypse was extremely clever. The characters were realistic and the book is an extremely easy read. I ordered 2 more copies today to give as gifts. I highly recommend this book.
When looking at the cover art, At the End of All Things foreshadows the inevitable, an apocalypse. The book follows several survivors and their struggles to live in a dying world.
Fear, death and sorrow reign supreme in this new way of life and no one makes it out unscathed.
At the End of All Things has all the blood, guts and carnage you would expect, but there is so much more. There is a beating heart underneath all the corpses and nuclear fallout. You feel for the characters. Whether it is love or hate, the emotional ties are present. Well written and paced, At the End of All Things is a must read for any horror fan.

In closing, if your looking for a character driven story, full of monsters - both human an undead...look no further.
This author is good from the characters. To the story it reminds me of all the great books and authors I love. From swan song to the stand with a little bit of Bentley little (black rain). I hope he writes another like this because it is so good. The use of zombies as locust to the supernatural aspect. I can not say to much, but people that like to read true horror or zombie will be pleased. I don't want to finish that's how good it is. I hope Stony has a few other books under his sleeve. Please continue to write and the price is good unlike my other favorite zombie book I've been deader to The first days. AT the end of all things is well worth the read.Stony reply back I just finished want a part 2 or another book. Sad I just found this. Will have to reread it.
